Why does this category even exist?
As a dark joke. FMK works partly because some boards are unwinnable — Dictators is the most unwinnable one. Skip it if it's not your sense of humor.
Isn't this in poor taste?
It's deliberately grim comedy, not a celebration. The framing takes the obvious as read: these were terrible people. If that's uncomfortable, eight other categories are one tap away.
Why is this category men-only?
The historical roster here happens to be entirely men, so the women-only and mixed gender pools don't apply to Dictators.
